Polka Dots & Owls – Birthday Party Inspiration

I’ve been excited to plan a first birthday party for my daughter the minute she was born. We have three months left until the big day, so I thought I better get a start on the design and concept. This inspiration board is one of my favorites – polka dots will be accented with other round elements throughout. Stay tuned for pictures from this event!

Fairytale Princess – Birthday Party Idea

Another great inspiration board for a Fairytale Princess birthday party! Hues of pink and green mesh well with a hint of purple. Fairytale elements such as tiara’s and wands make for great favors. We can also print and design an invitation that suits this theme perfectly.

Vintage Guestbook – South Dakota Wedding Idea

An antique wood desk made for a perfect guestbook table at the Museum of Visual Materials. This guestbook and pen were paired with other vintage details and accessories to create the look. Think about making a statement by adding random elements or bringing in an antique table when designing your wedding decor.

Lemonade Stand – South Dakota Wedding Idea

With the help of an antique white dresser, pattern fabrics and mason jars, this lemonade stand made for a great addition to the wedding decor at the Museum of Visual Materials. Guests need something to sip on in between the wedding ceremony and reception, this is a great alternative to the standard punch, jazz it up with some fun containers, glasses or straws.
